Suggested 1 week cruise

Day 1:
Board the yacht in Marmaris in the early afternoon and sail for Kumlu Buku for a swim beneath the ruins of ancient Amos. Then on to Ekincik Bay where we enjoy dinner at the “My Marina” restaurant.
Day 2:
Following breakfast we board a small river boat for our tour of ancient Caunos and Dalyan. We make our way inland along the reed-lined channels of the Dalyan River delta, keeping an eye out for turtles, herons and kingfishers. At Caunos visit the remains of a theatre, a Byzantine church, a Roman bath house and an Agora. As we head up-river to the town of Dalyan, we pass beneath some impressive Lycian rock tombs. Enjoy a brief stroll through the town before returning to the yacht in Ekincik. Overnight in Kizilkuyruk Harbour, a quiet place to anchor with the ruins of ancient Lydae.
Day 3:
Crossing the Gulf of Fethiye, we reach Gemiler Island by lunchtime. Following a relaxing afternoon of swimming and snorkelling over sunken ruins, we take a tender boat ashore to explore the island. Walk around the remains of a sizeable Byzantine settlement. Take advantage of the fabulous view from the summit. Dinner at a quaint restaurant ashore.
Day 4:
Head down the coast and anchor at a small beach. Walk to the waterfalls and enjoy the beauty of “Butterfly Valley”. Lunch stop is at nearby Oludeniz – Turkey’s most photographed beach – with the imposing Babadagi (Father Mountain, a favorite of paragliders). We make for Bestas Harbour, our anchorage for the night and walk up to the ruins of the Greek ghost town, Kaya Koy. Dinner on board.
Day 5:
Sailing back into the Gulf of Fethiye, our destination is Manastir Bay and the delightful anchorage known as “Cleopatra’s Bay”. At the end of the day, snorkel over to the partially-submerged ruins of a monastery at the waters edge. Dine out local style in a restaurant near the waters edge.
Day 6:
Cruise to Sarsala Bay. Lunch in the small harbour on Tersane island where there are numerous ruins dating from Byzantine times and later. Tersane is also a well sheltered anchorage, ideal for watersports. Our destination is Tomb Bay. These tombs can be reached by taking a climb up the hill from the beach.
Day 7:
We spend a final day on the beautiful Gulf of Fethiye, visiting such picturesque spots as the Yassica Islands and Boynuz Buku before making our way into Gocek. Alternatively, spend the night out in a quiet anchorage on Gocek island, before proceeding to Gocek in the morning.
